The Costa Dorada is home to quite a few popular resorts (Salou, Tarragona & Cambrils) and there are a few options open to you with regards to flying there.
Rues Airport is the very best airport to travel into and is around 15 minutes drive to the main resort of Salou. Depending on availability, prices etc you could also fly into Barcelona, Girona or at a push Valencia.
Barcelona is just over an hour drive rom Salou but Girona and Valencia will take a couple of hours by car.
There is a large music festival held in Benicassim each summer and Valencia is the best airport to use. However Reus and Barcelona are not out of the question.
