Vitoria Gasteiz is a provincial airport which handles domestic car hire auto rental Madrid and Barcelona. Although the passenger numbers at the airport are low it actually handles a huge amount of cargo flights, with only Barcelona and Madrid Airports handling more.

Vitoria Airport is in the Basque Region of Spain with the City of Vitoria about 10 km away and the airport is just 64 kms south of Bilbao. This makes it a good alternative way of spending a weekend break either in Bilbao or exploring this beautiful and unspoiled part of Spain.
